The CAHSEE is a state mandated test administered by the Unified School Districts as part of the requirements for a high school diploma. The Learning Center is proud to offer FREE CAHSEE preparation. We can help you prepare for either the CAHSEE Math or English Language Arts test in a way that is different from what you may be doing at your school.
Even if you are under 18, if you are currently enrolled in LBUSD or LBSA, you can come to the Learning Center by getting a referral from your counselor. Come to the Learning Center any time we are open and we can help you enroll in the college and get you registered in our CAHSEE prep course, BAE 601a. You must bring a non-credit concurrent enrollment fee waiver form signed by a parent or guardian and high school principal or designated counselor.
|
|
Once you are enrolled, we then give you a short
assessment of your skills to determine which
areas to work on to help you pass the CAHSEE. Based on those results and your previous CAHSEE scores, we can help you pinpoint areas for improvement and give you a direct and individualized learning path to passing the CAHSEE. At
the same time, you can get an idea of what the
college environment is like and check out other
classes and careers available.

High School Concurrent Enrollment Form, click

be printed on blue paper if possible.
For more information, you can speak to your high
school counselor, come in, call (562)938-3979
or email us at hneu@lbcc.edu.
Our goal is to help you pass the CAHSEE and
move on toward your future career! |
