Welcome to the Academic Support and Development Department. Our department exists to provide students with the skills and resources necessary to access pathways to certificate, career, degree and transfer programs through instruction in basic skills development and supplemental learning assistance.

We strive to serve all students through individualized, flexible (open-entry/open-exit) study using a variety of materials and learning modalities, so that students may increase their individual levels of success, discover strengths, and build upon them in order to develop self-confidence and succeed as responsible, employable citizens and college students.

We believe that by providing students the opportunity to experience the college environment in a way that acknowledges the life challenges they currently face, all students may discover their own pathway to success and a better future.
